Salmon Creek Legacy Hospital, Peace Health hospital, HP and several other SW Washington corporations are 20 to 25 minutes away. We have a large living area with a sectional couch, a dinning room table with chairs, bar stools and a bar, a tv with Direct TV. Our kitchen is equipped with a toaster over, double hot pad, microwave, toaster, crockpot and fully stocked with items to cook with -there is also a refrigerator and a freezer. Outside on the deck is a BBQ & table and chairs and an amazing view of our woods. It has a full bath, with tub and shower - the bedroom is large with a king size bed and a large walk-in closet. We have several 5 star reviews from previous professional rentals including this one from Lex..."I absolutely loved it here. I was their first longer-stay traveler (7+ months), and Andee and Alvin made me feel like I was at my true home away from home. Location: I loved how peaceful and out in the forest hills this was. My last job was in center city Philadelphia, so it felt nice to be out of the city and breathe that fresh mountain air again. I worked in the town of Vancouver, which was about a 20 min commute. I also had quite a few friends that lived in Portland, so I would travel across the river a few times a week. Most parts of Portland are about 30-40 min away. It never felt that far to me, and it felt worth it to be away from the hustle. Adventure-wise, this is a great hub for the outdoors. Easy drives to Mount St Helens, Silver Star; with Mt Hood, Mt Adams, and Mt Rainier not too far either. Locally, check out Battle Ground State Park and Multnomah Falls. Andee and Alvin also have a great list of places to visit and eat/drink. Space: So much space for the price. Separate entrance was nice and private. Bedroom with huge walk-in closet and king size bed (a first for me!). Large living space. Large private bath. Kitchenette was perfect for me. I prepped a lot of meals for work in this kitchen. Even with the portable electric stovetop and the toaster oven, I never felt like I needed more. It all worked great, like a full kitchen. All spaces were very nice and clean. Andee and Alvin are fantastic hosts and now good friends. They allow your privacy, but also quick to help with anything you may need. And their new pup, Dani, is just the sweetest!"
