Our historic 3 bedroom row house is a fusion of vintage, global, and modern to make our home your home whether for the night or 28+ nights. We want you to feel that your every need has been considered and comfort knowing that you have a clean and well sanitized home for your stay. For your stay you will have all the modern kitchen amenities, a spa shower, organic bedding, and indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and center. There is a large TV if that’s how you relax. We have a parking space too! Please note there is an apartment downstairs so please be mindful of the noise. We do stay down there or have guests staying. We are also taking the extra steps to clean and sanitize: an air purifier and sanitizing wand. That’s for those harder to sanitize items like the sofa and the mattresses. Historic row houses, modern apartments, major retail shops and some of the city’s most distinct dining enclaves in Columbia Heights. Nearby, Meridian Hill Park, a two-level, European style park with terrazzo walls holds fountains, statues and, every Sunday, a lively afternoon drum circle. DC Bike share right out front. * NO SMOKING anywhere inside the home. You may smoke outside, be sure you extinguish what you are smoking before leaving unattended. Be sure that all doors, windows and any opening where smoke may enter the house are closed and secured. HOUSE PARTIES or EVENTS ARE PROHIBITED You agree to act in such a manner as to allow those nearby peaceful enjoyment of their properties. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation at anytime that you violate this policy. Advance notice is required for early check in requests and we'll do our best to accommodate those requests. We charge $25 per hour starting at 12 noon. Late Checkout: Check out is on or before 11am. If you would like to extend your check out time, please contact us in advance and we may be able to accommodate your request. Unauthorized late check-outs will automatically be charged 30% of the daily rental rate per hour stay past 11am. We totally understand that accidents happen but please let us know if something spilled, stained, or gets broken during your stay. Failure to communicate any damages, we will pursue collecting for the damages and charge an additional 20% over and above the replacement costs. PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED Please send us a message should you want to bring your pet. You know your pet better than we do, please bring the appropriate accommodations for your particular pet. The eat in kitchen has all NEW appliances large fridge, though electric a commercial style range, and ample spices and small appliances ( vita-mix and commercial grade toaster oven/air fryer) to whip up some dinner. The dining table accommodates 4. We have a laundry closet in the kitchen with a super size washer and dryer. If the weather is nice step outside and have dinner on the deck, lounge on the patio or light a fire in the fire pit. We have now parked the Metta Gem ( a renovated RV) in the far back corner of the yard. Back inside is the full bathroom with rain shower. 1 bedroom with queen bed and the other bedroom with fold down sofa( we have a very comfy mattress topper). * NO SMOKING anywhere inside the home. Once you reach the Highpoint (yeah!! getting your steps in- you did it!) you will be able to gain access with the key pad on the door. * there isn't an elevator to get you up there. It is an open concept - living room where you can see the dining area and the kitchen. The living space has a sleeper sofa (made in the USA) dining space accommodates 4. Full kitchen with all the essentials even the locally roasted (ok locally meaning Richmond, VA) Metta Coffee - Stir. The Bedroom - a Queen bed with Avocado (non-toxic organic mattress) and organic bedding produced for the Metta Homes. The bathroom is large! The living space has a queen sleeper sofa, the dining table accommodates 6 and can extend on both ends to accommodate four more. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials even the locally roasted (by Lamplighter here Richmond) Metta Coffee - STIR. As you enter the hallway the 1/2 bath is on the left and the 1st bedroom is on the right. Queen bed with Tuft and Needle mattress and organic bedding produced for Metta Home. There is a sky light in this bedroom, but don't worry we have created a curtain that you can open and close. There is a sliding glass door that leads to the full size bathroom. The bathroom is large! Vanity, full walk in shower with two shower heads and a laundry closet. Should you need to use the washer or dryer or both please don’t over load them, they work great when filled but not overloaded.
